Taline Papendick
Founder + Lead Art Instructor

With over 15 years in art education and expressive arts therapy, Taline is skilled at thinking on her toes and being resourceful with materials and spaces.
Since college, she has taught art to students across a spectrum of age ranges and abilities, but her goal always remains the same—infuse her passion for the arts with everyone she works with.
As a public school teacher in Bergen County, summers off meant teaching art at a local camp. Just before the 2020 camp season, the program was cancelled so she decided to take her knowledge, passion and a car full of art supplies on the road and into your backyard! That is how Backyard Artists was born!
